1. Tell us about the work you currently do.

Currently I work at Telstra, a significant Australian telecom company, as their India Head for Facilities & Real Estate. I am fortunate to be in an intriguing stage of the company's development when "doing business responsibly" and being a "place to work" are given more importance. A further 10 years of my expertise were in a related engineering sector, where I oversaw project management, design and development, and maintenance and repairs of electromechanical equipment.

2. What's the best part of being associated with the CoreNet Global India Chapter?

I have been a part of the CoreNet Global India Chapter for the past two years. With frequent chapter meetings and courses to upskill, CoreNet offers plenty of chances to comprehend the constant changes within the sector. Professional collaboration always facilitates great information and knowledge exchange.

3. What's your message to the next-gen CRE professionals?

The CRE profession is no longer considered an accidental choice. It is, in my opinion, one of the most emerging and timeless areas.  A lot of people in the hospitality and engineering fields are excited to go into CRE. Because technology is advancing so quickly, CRE professionals must be able to use it to make decisions more quickly. The field of CRE combines science with art, offering everyday opportunities to put both hard and soft abilities to use. Like any other industry, success in this one requires a combination of networking, expertise, patience, and determination.

4. How do you unwind at the end of the long day?

After a long day, I like to watch movies, take a little walk around my apartment complex while listening to music or a podcast, and talk on the phone with some of my friends who have been there for 20 to 25 years.
