1. Tell us about your career.

Currently as a Director at M Moser Associates, I lead the business, manage P&L responsibilities and oversee large-scale interior design projects, including multinational firms' campuses across India and globally. My dedication to progressive, people-centric workplace design aligns seamlessly with M Moser's ethos as a women-led organization. With an architectural degree from Chandigarh, I chose to carve my own path. In 2012, I joined M Moser in Mumbai, transitioning to Bangalore in 2015 as a Global Workplace Strategist, and honed my skills in aligning work environments with business processes for optimal success.

2. What's the best part of being associated with the CoreNet Global India Chapter?

With over 14 years of experience in design and architecture, I can say the most rewarding aspect of being associated with the CoreNet Global India Chapter is the invaluable opportunity for collaboration with other CRE professionals. My work experience is substantially enhanced by the chapter's activities and initiatives, which allow me to interact with people from different backgrounds and remain up-to-date on industry trends.

3. What is your favourite tip for someone aspiring to work in the CRE industry?

That will be to have a broad perspective on business. Realize that CRE is about matching real estate strategies with overarching corporate objectives, not only about buildings. Always stay curious, immerse yourself in studying various sectors, and understand their operation process. Develop a strategic mindset, since it will help you make informed decisions to advance the organization's performance as a whole. Take advantage of networking opportunities to connect with individuals in other industries. Finally, remember that as the market changes, you will stand out in your professional path if you are flexible and willing to learn new things on a constant basis.

4. What's your favourite quote and why?

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi
This quote perfectly captures the ability of personal action to bring about constructive changes. It promotes individual accountability and emphasizes how each person's decisions and deeds may have an effect on creating a better society. This phrase is a source of motivation for many people who are trying to change the world and their communities for the better because of its profundity and simplicity!
