1. Tell us about the work you currently do?

I work with Knight Frank India as a part of the Occupier Strategy and Solutions focused on Transaction Advisory, new business development, and key account management.

It’s exciting to find oneself having the opportunity to work alongside the best talent across leading firms, enabling them to do what they do best by curating unique real estate solutions that not only are a natural extension of the client’s brand but are also smart, sustainable and maximize financial value.

My transaction advisory experience spans over 7 years, aggregating to ~2 Mn across a range of asset classes and geographies. Beyond my role as a part of OSS, I also actively support our Global Portfolio Solutions team (GPS) in managing some of the firm's key strategic accounts, tender support to the Industrial & Leasing team, and support the Knight Frank India Leadership Team on organizational-wide special initiatives.

2. What do you feel most passionately about CRE industry in India?

I truly believe that India is coming of age and in the next few years it will have truly itself as the destination of choice for leading businesses. Perhaps rightfully so, given its stable political environment, focus on infrastructure development, strong intrinsic demand, and our unparalleled demographic advantage.

Over the years, we’ve witnessed the evolution of CRE function from its erstwhile support role to its current strategic, business-critical enabling avatar. It’s no surprise that CRE in India is gaining the center stage with the quality of its product offerings, the robustness of its markets and the maturity of its CRE eco-system.

As a CRE professional in India staring at the opportunities ahead, I can’t help myself from feeling excited about how this profession that we are so passionate about is about to challenge us, even more. At the same time, with the support of platforms like CoreNet, I feel extremely confident in our ability as a fraternity to rise to the challenge, capitalise on it and shape the future of CRE in India.

3. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

As someone who chases new experiences and enjoys meeting people, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for travelling. Collecting hand-wound watches and following formula one are some other indulgences. On a given day, spending time with my dear ones, reading, tuning into some music or working out is usually how I unwind to re-centre myself. Occasionally on weekends, you might find me cooking up a storm in my kitchen, sketching a portrait, or strumming a tune on my guitar too!
