1. Tell us about the work you currently do.
As an Associate Director at ANJ Group, I lead business development and client management for Design & Build projects across South India. My career began in precast construction after I graduated with a master's degree in advanced construction and management from NICMAR, Pune. I gradually changed my focus to project management and design and build, utilizing my experience with projects to deliver excellent end-user solutions. My love for the work I perform is fueled by this transforming path from project talks to meaningful outputs.
2. What's the best part of being associated with the CoreNet Global India Chapter?
The most fulfilling part is the networking and communication with individuals from various business backgrounds and thought leaders throughout the world. Understanding their work responsibilities better helps me learn and grow. Being a member of this continuously expanding community, which keeps up with industry developments and promotes cooperation with the brightest brains in the field, is a pleasure and an honour.
3. What skills are crucial to succeed in the CRE industry in India?
Success in the fiercely competitive corporate real estate market in India depends on a tactical combination of abilities. The toolset is completed by relationship management, technical competence, and effective communication, in addition to flexibility to handle changing market conditions. Complying with the law requires legal knowledge, and being aware of sustainable practices gives one an extra advantage. Professionals in this dynamic area are positioned for success by having this broad skill set.
4. What do you enjoy outside work? What keeps you motivated?
I am happy when I am enjoying the little things in life away from work. My schedule is made more interesting with activities such as playing badminton, travelling for a long trip, and spending quality time with family and friends. They also play a crucial role in maintaining my drive.
'Pleasure in the job puts excellence in the work,' as Aristotle once said. For me, joy and inspiration come from striking a balance between professional commitment and personal renewal through these many pursuits.
