Tell us about your career?
I started my career in 2013 as a part of the core Global Accounts Team in Bangalore with CBRE. I later moved on to JLL to explore other aspects of Account Management & Broking, where I closely worked with Wells Fargo, Facebook & many other key clients.
I'm currently working with Knight Frank, where I lead the International & Global portfolio solutions business in India. I work directly with our clients on strategic growth planning, market-entry, feasibility analysis, and much more. As a Real Estate professional, I focus on being solution-oriented with a strong governance and compliance framework to deliver desired outcomes to clients.
What is the best part of being associated with the CoreNet Global India Chapter?
CoreNet Global India Chapter has enhanced my knowledge on Corporate Real Estate and broadened my networking skills. The multiple events – online & offline have enabled me to extend my horizon and think laterally.
What excites you about working in the CRE profession?
CRE in India is very people-driven. It's all about building relationships & leveraging it towards your clients – tenants, landlords, developers, or in today's age, the flex operators. The industry has evolved over the years, however, people are here to stay – veterans and newbies included.
We have the pleasure of celebrating our successes & failures with the same set of people, and we enjoy the privilege of growing and evolving alongside each other. It's this evolution that is the most exciting for me.
How do you unwind at the end of a long day?
As a working mother, what I have learned over the years is to make it a point to spend quality time with my daughter, and cherish it. We visit pet cafes, watch movies together, play with cousins, and run off from the city whenever we get a chance! Between business travels, late-night pitch preparations & cross-border account management, the only constant is her never-ending banter about swimming, playdough, and school meal time. It's surprising how the stories are boundless & her world is fearless!
